Update on The Saints Go Dying
Designing a cover and laying out a book for the Kindle was a fun project, and being able to sell it was even cooler (says the author).
The book has continued to sell, albeit at a pace of a few per month. Nothing special, but enough for a lunch out every so often. It’s nothing like what Amanda Hocking has experienced, selling hundreds of thousands of books a month. (more information about her incredible success on The Kindle here).
We’re currently working on a Kindle cover and book layout for another client. I’m starting to think that authors are going to really start embracing the Kindle’s potential in the very near future. I still love curling up with a good hardcover book, don’t get me wrong. But the power of the Kindle for the self-published author is pretty incredible.
